Write down a normal day at your counter
List your busiest checkout steps, common payment methods, returns, credit customers and end-of-day reports. For a phone shop, include IMEI records and repair jobs. For a restaurant, include tables, kitchen orders and takeaway. A useful demo should follow these real tasks.
Confirm the cost over a full year
Compare subscription fees, setup, users, branches, optional modules, hardware, hosting and support. Ask what a 6 or 12 month payment covers and whether the discount applies to future renewals. A low monthly number alone does not describe the total arrangement.
Test printing, access and data
Use the printer and scanner you intend to operate. Check who can change prices, approve payments and view reports. Ask how data is backed up and how records can be exported when needed.
Ask about change before you need it
Confirm how upgrades, pauses, cancellation and unpaid invoices are handled. Keep your quotation and invoices with the agreed dates and service terms. iCode offers a free demonstration so you can review the workflow before subscribing.
Make it specific to your business.
